Paul Erhard Double Bass Recital

Paul Erhard is professor of double bass at the University of Colorado College of Music in Boulder, Colorado, USA where he has taught classical and jazz double bassist since joining the faculty in 1986. He is the founder and director of the Rocky Mountain Double Bass Festival, with the 10th Festival taking place October 10-11, 2009 in Boulder. Paul Erhard earned his Masters and Doctoral degrees from The Juilliard School as a student of Homer Mensch, and his Bachelors degree from Eastman School of Music as a student of James VanDemark. He is the winner of the 1984 Juilliard Double Bass Solo Competition.
